the FernWood Flyer
recent show
I’ve been working all winter on paintings and a new book inspired by arctic imagery from my Artist Residency in Gates of the Arctic National Park last fall and it’s about time to pull it all together and go public. I will have a show of new work, plus a slideshow and book preview at the Kimball Gallery in Gig Harbor on Sunday, April 11th from 4 to 6 pm. A perfect subject to celebrate just in time for Earth Day! NEW BOOK
I have compiled images from my sketchbook, photos and paintings from last year’s visit to the Noatak River in Gates of the Arctic National Park in this new volume. Click here to see the first 15 pages of the book, if you go to full screen mode you can even read the text. You can buy it directly from the publisher, Blurb.com, click on the shopping cart.
Back from Esperanza
The BABC (BarelyAdequateBoatingClub), of which I am an active member, explored the northwest corner of Vancouver Island and Esperanza Inlet by kayak. Spectacular! Click the image right for more!
